Copenhagen Coffee Lab - Campo de Santa Clara is a refined sanctuary for coffee lovers and breakfast enthusiasts nestled in the heart of Lisbon at Campo de Santa Clara 136. This café seamlessly blends the Scandinavian love for high-quality coffee with a vibrant Portuguese atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot for those craving artisanal coffee, fresh baked goods, and wholesome breakfasts.

Stepping inside, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans envelops you, instantly promising a sensory journey. Their menu is a testament to craft and comfort, featuring standout items like the sinfully moist Cinnamon Bun—a perfect harmony of subtle sweetness and tender texture that customers rave about. The Breakfast Plate offers a hearty start to your day, with thoughtfully prepared ingredients that celebrate fresh, natural flavors. Those seeking a smooth, velvety coffee experience will find joy in their expertly made Latte Macchiato and the crisp, refreshing Iced Americano. For a mid-morning boost or a casual indulgence, their Self Made Bread varieties—ranging from artisanal sourdoughs with seeds to the traditional Danish rye—provide a delightful complement to their coffees and pastries.

What truly sets Copenhagen Coffee Lab apart is the meticulous care in their products, like the Cheesecake De Frutos Vermelhos, bursting with the vibrancy of red berries, or the wholesome Papas De Aveia Com Canela E Maçã loaded with chia seeds, grated apple, and warming cinnamon. Customers appreciate the quality and authenticity here. As one guest described, the coffee is “strong—great for a quick bite or a caffeine fix,” while another praised the “fantastic ham and cheese toast” and “espresso-based drinks that go beyond the ordinary.” The café comes alive during weekends, especially around the nearby Feira da Ladra flea market, where the atmosphere buzzes with energy—a perfect contrast to quieter mornings where you can relax and enjoy your meal in peace.

Despite minor language barriers in some visits, the warmth of the experience shines through thanks to the staff’s attentiveness, especially during busy periods. Patrons also highlight the reasonable pricing for the quality offered, making it a favorite spot for both locals and tourists alike.

The food is tasty, and the coffee is strong—great for a quick bite or a caffeine fix. However, the service could use some improvement. The staff doesn’t speak any English and seemed a bit frustrated when we tried to order in English, which made the experience less welcoming. While the food and drinks are good, a more friendly and accommodating service would make the visit much more enjoyable.

We came here on a Saturday, during the "Feira da Ladra" and it was quite busy, but the staff handled it very well and were kind and attentive nonetheless. If you're not a fan of the hustle and bustle, you might want to visit on a another day. We had the Avocado Scrambled Egg Toast and Blueberry Bun and both were delicious and had good portion sizes. We also had the Fritz-Kola, the Iced Latte and the homemade Lemon-Mint Lemonade - very refreshing, would highly recommend.

Delicious breakfast and coffee. If you’ve been good, treat yourself to the pistachio pastry. Amazing!

Ham and cheese toast was fantastic! Also a great spot for espresso based drinks that’s not just espresso. Cinnamon bun was SO moist and just perfectly sweet. You can have it warmed if you ask nicely

Called for a coffee stop after visiting the flea market and was tempted to try the smoked salmon and avacado roll which was delicious. Coffee was good too and not overly expensive for both my sandwich and coffee. Friendly staff and tried another location as well during my visit to Lisboa which equally did not disappoint.
